A Mother’s Retreat
May 8 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pmFree
Join us for this nourishing retreat for mothers of all ages, from new moms with babies to empty nesters and grandmothers. Tara Ludwig, Spiritual Director at Faber Institute and mother of three little ones, will act as Retreat Director, guiding us through a reverent exploration of the power of “Mother”. Together, we will consider how our spiritual capacities as mothers create depth and meaning within our own homes and families, as well as empower us as agents of tenderness in a broken world. Through deep reflection and prayer, inspiring and honest dialogue, as well as shared laughter and tears, we will be at common cause in affirming the dignity of motherhood and its role in fostering a more united human family.
The Mothers’ Retreat is an annual ritual at the Faber Institute, which has been reimagined in light of COVID restrictions. This year, the retreat will be offered you in your home via the ZOOM platform on Saturday, May 8th, from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM. The retreat serves as a “first act” to the Mother’s Day Weekend: the retreat, on Saturday, offers a time for mothers of all degrees of experience to gather together to share and reflect, preparing each to more fully receive the fruits of her lifework amidst her family on the Mother’s Day holiday on Sunday.
Please RSVP below in order to receive reminders, as well as online login information closer to the retreat day. We look joyfully forward to welcoming you to A Mother’s Retreat!
